Using a wireless Wi-Fi connection, the scale Withings Smart Body Analyzer WS-50 worth about 10,000 rubles transfer your measurement results to a personalized area on the manufacturer’s website. In addition, via Bluetooth, this data can also be sent to a smartphone, so that later it can be viewed using a mobile application.
Thus, the user can constantly monitor their progress or regression in matters such as weight, body fat percentage and body mass index — at least in cases where everything will work reliably.
Withings Smart Body Analyzer WS-50: in practice
During a hands-on test that lasted more than two weeks, our editors had to repeatedly reconnect and reconfigure the device to get the desired data transfer going. The application itself, available for both Android and iOS, on the contrary, turned out to be very visual: the controls are intuitive and visually organized in a very attractive way. Another thing we didn’t really like during testing was the mediocre accuracy of the weight measurement.

Withings Smart Body Analyzer WS-50: Alternative
Soehnle 63340 Web Connect Analysis also connect to the Internet, but boast higher measurement accuracy. This model does not have a specialized application, as the manufacturer relies on a website optimized for mobile devices. True, the cost of Soehnle 63340 Web Connect Analysis is much more expensive — about 22,000 rubles.
