In the WMF KUCHENminis Vario teapot, the selected operating mode is indicated by LEDs, and on the bottom side you can see a blue light ring — it looks very stylish.

In addition to the fine filter to protect against scale, the package includes a tea filter. It can be used directly when boiling, thus turning the kettle into a teapot.

Not always optimal usability

The disadvantages of the device can be attributed to its small size. Cleaning the kettle by hand is very difficult and should be taken into account, especially considering the “glass design” and the high likelihood of plaque formation when brewing tea directly in the kettle.

WMF KUCHENminis Vario: illumination during boiling

A large number of divisions on the scales located on both sides of the case will please both right-handers and left-handers. The spring-loaded lid opens with the press of a button — using one hand to fill the kettle will be enough. Unfortunately, the pouring process is not optimal, and boiling one liter of water takes too long.

In general, this kettle can be considered a chic kitchen gadget with a high cost, but with great functionality and a few drawbacks.

Alternative: also made of glass and more — Severin WK 3471

Severin WK 3471The Severin WK 3471 teapot is also made of glass, offers a choice of temperature modes and is also supplied with a tea filter. In addition, it holds more water and boils it much faster. Of course, it takes up more space in the kitchen, but a wider opening of the lid is also of great importance. When choosing this model, users will have to abandon the chic backlight and fine descaling filter.
