Robot vacuum cleaners are becoming more and more popular — now people do not need to clean carpets, sofas, dust under the bed and in the corners of rooms on their own. However, the dust container of the vacuum cleaner still requires constant cleaning, which also takes time and can cause problems for users (for example, due to allergies to dust).

The new Lydsto R1 smart robot vacuum cleaner has a very cool feature — the dust collector is cleaned automatically here, thanks to the base connected to it. Let’s see how it works.

Dust collection station

So, the device consists of two parts: a vacuum cleaner and a dust collection station, which also acts as a charging base. When the robot finishes cleaning and arrives for charging, the station automatically pulls the garbage out of the container and transfers it to a sealed dust bag.

The dust collecting base of Lydsto R1 is equipped with a special channel for debris 430 mm long. Dust does not linger in it for a long time, which avoids blockages. With a motor speed of 50,000 rpm and a suction power of 30 kPa, the cleaning efficiency of the vacuum cleaner container reaches 98%.

After collecting the dust, the waste will be temporarily stored in a special 3 liter bag. For a small family, this is enough to not empty the dust container for a month. At the same time, you can remove and replace the bag without touching the garbage at all, which is very convenient.

Cleaning

Lydsto R1 can carry out dry and wet cleaning at the same time. The suction force reaches 2700 Pa, which allows the robot to collect fine dust, wool, hair and pollen. It also has a water tank with an electronic drip system that controls the flow of liquid according to the area of the cleaning area. As a result, the water is distributed evenly over the floor, and the vacuum cleaner does not leave puddles and stains.

Also, the model is able to recognize carpets — getting on a soft floor covering, the robot stops supplying water to the rag and turns on the high suction power mode.

Navigation

The Lydsto R1 is equipped with a high-precision LDS laser sensor and also uses the Lysmart V5 positioning and navigation algorithm. The robot builds a map of the room and precisely orients itself on it: having detected an obstacle, the device immediately corrects its path.

Working hours

Lydsto R1 has a large 5200 mAh battery — it provides 150 minutes of continuous use. If the robot runs out of power while cleaning, it will remember the place where it stopped and return to it after charging. This feature is especially useful in spacious homes and people with pets who will often use the vacuum cleaner for more efficient cleaning.

Results and cost

The robot vacuum cleaner has all the modern features necessary for fast and high-quality cleaning. He knows how to build a multilayer map of the room, overcomes barriers up to 2 cm high, is protected from falls and independently cleans the tank from debris. The presence of a special dust collection station makes this model one of the most functional on the market. At the same time, the vacuum cleaner is much cheaper than analogues — about $ 350. So such a purchase can be safely called very profitable.
