Hood Elikor Titan for the kitchen

An inconspicuous but very useful accessory in a modern kitchen is a range hood. It eliminates unwanted air pollution that is inevitable when cooking. And it should be functional, efficient and fit perfectly into the interior. The Elikor Titan hood fully possesses these qualities.

The main purpose of the hood is to clean the air from odors, carcinogens, combustion products. Grease on kitchen furniture and utensils, yellowed wallpaper and dirty ceilings are the inevitable result of not using the hood.

The Russian company Elikor has more than 50 models in its catalog, and the manufacturer himself claims that every fourth hood sold in Russia is made by him. The design of most hoods is “traditional”, however, this does not mean “retro”, rather it is a traditional reading of all modern styles.

All Elikor hoods are produced on modern German-made equipment, motors are purchased in Italy, the production itself is located in Russia. The company manufactures products not only for the domestic market, but also for export.

The Titan hood is one of the most popular models, and for good reason: it is one of the most successful hoods in terms of price and functionality, and it is also important that its design fits perfectly into most modern kitchens.

Which kitchen is Elikor Titan suitable for?

The Elikor Titan wall-mounted inclined hood is suitable for almost any kitchen in an apartment or a private house. The dimensions of the hood are such that it can easily fit even in the smallest kitchen. The company recommends the use of hoods in kitchens up to 16 square meters. m. For spacious kitchens in private homes or kitchen-living rooms, if necessary, it is possible to use several hoods.

If we talk about design, then Elikor Titan is quite consistent with fashion trends in interior design: minimalism, hi-tech, loft. The unit looks stylish and, no doubt, decorates the interior.

The main advantages of Elikor Titan

The design implements a progressive system of perimeter air suction. This means that the flow rate increases, its temperature decreases, which contributes to the concentration of fat droplets, and they actively settle on the inlet filter. Thus, much less dirt reaches the engine, which facilitates its operation and increases its service life.

The grease filter made of anodized aluminum is not located horizontally, but at an angle, and is covered with a mirrored panel. Air enters it through narrow slots around the perimeter of the device. Moreover, the motor runs at low speed, which significantly reduces the noise level.

High build quality, an Italian-made motor, a German powder coating line, and a five-year branded hood warranty make the device very attractive. It is possible to carry out warranty repairs and post-warranty service in the Elikor branded service network. The kitchen will give you pleasure for a long time with its appearance and fresh atmosphere in your home.

Characteristics of Elikor Titan

Dimensions and design

The hood fits perfectly into the design of almost any kitchen and collects polluted air over an electric or gas hob.

The width of 60 cm is quite standard for this type of equipment, and the depth of 29.5 cm is less than many other hoods on the market. This means that the hood can fit into almost any interior, even in the smallest kitchen.

  • Width 0.6 m;
  • Depth 0.295 m;
  • Height with false pipe 0.726 m;
  • The device is available in three design options: white, black and stainless steel with black accents.

Power and performance

The manufacturing company claims that the performance of the hood is optimal for a room of 16 square meters. m. Three speeds allow you to quite accurately adjust the operating mode of the device, but it is worth remembering that at maximum speed the motor wears out faster, makes more noise and consumes more energy, and at the minimum speed the air exchange rate in the room decreases.

  • Power 147 W;
  • Productivity 430 cubic meters / hour;
  • Three hood speeds

Operating modes

The hood operates in two modes:

  • Extraction mode with the removal of polluted air outside the premises;
  • Recirculation mode, with the return of purified air back to the kitchen.

The mode with the removal of polluted air is preferable, but it requires the ability to connect to exhaust ventilation or an additional channel for ejecting air into the surrounding atmosphere. Tapping into the exhaust ventilation duct in parallel with a water heater or heating boiler is prohibited, as well as connection to the inlet ventilation duct. If these possibilities are excluded, then it is necessary to use a scheme with recirculation.

Necessary accessories

To operate the device in the exhaust mode with the removal of air from the room, it is necessary to additionally purchase a corrugated semi-rigid air duct with a diameter of 150 mm, a Flat 42P-430-KZD mortise block and a ventilation grill in the kitchen design style.

In the recirculation mode, it is mandatory to use an F‑00 carbon filter. It is made of highly absorbent activated carbon and captures all the odors that fill the air during cooking.

The absorbing properties of the filter are maintained for 160 hours, which corresponds to three to four months of regularly turning on the hood. But if smells in the kitchen appear before this time, then the filter needs to be replaced immediately.

Elikor Titan price in Russia

The hood belongs to the democratic price segment and is distinguished by modern methods of air purification. The price of the device in online stores starts from 6,000 rubles for a white or black case and from 6,990 rubles for a stainless steel version with black elements.

Customer Reviews

Customer reviews are taken from the Yandex.Market website, the author’s spelling is preserved.

We have been using the hood for a long time, I like everything, especially the fact that it is very beautiful. I was afraid that traces would be visible on white, but there is nothing of this, I wipe it with a damp cloth periodically, and no dirt is visible. Also, fingerprints are not visible, only if you look closely, perhaps. The price for an inclined type of hood is quite small, and we also took it at a discount using a promotional code.

I liked the design of the hood the most, because it looks very nice. But there are no complaints about the quality either, the thrust is normal, even at low speeds. Perimeter suction is cool, it seems that the area is small, but you can even see how steam enters this small gap. Therefore, nothing remains in the apartment, even the smells all disappear.
Mark MarinkinNizhny Novgorod
The hood looks very cool, even though it is white, I thought it would be pale. I have no complaints about traction, at maximum speed it even pulls out smells from the kitchen. At minimum speed, it is almost inaudible, and in principle, there is enough traction. Therefore, we often turn on the minimum.

Elikor Titan installation instructions

Safety requirements

All work on maintenance and repair of the hood is carried out only when the power is turned off and the power plug is removed from the socket. The electric stove must be turned off, the burners of the gas stove must be extinguished.

Preparation for work

Before installing the hood, open the front glass panel of the hood by pulling on its lower edge. Then remove the aluminum grease filter by depressing its spring latch. The plate should be securely covered from the dust that is inevitable when drilling holes in the wall, it would even be better to put a hard coating on it.

For installation, you need a puncher, dowels, screwdrivers or a screwdriver. It is necessary to lay the power cable to the location of the hood in the strobe or cable duct.

Installation order

1. The hood must be suspended above the center of the stove so that its lower edge is at a height of 0.65 m above the electric stove or 0.75 m above the gas stove with an open fire.

5. Replace the filter and close the front panel.

6. The corrugated air duct leading to the ventilation duct is covered with a false pipe. For its installation, it is necessary to install an additional bracket above the hood. Its width is adjustable for a specific model, holes for dowels are marked in accordance with the instructions. The bracket is mounted on self-tapping screws, after connecting the air duct, a false pipe is fixed on it.

Rules for the operation and maintenance of Elikor Titan

  • The hood is turned on, if necessary, at the beginning of the cooking process of any dishes. In order to boil the kettle, the first, weakest mode of operation is enough. If it is supposed to fry fish or steaks, then the most powerful mode is needed.
  • Contaminated surfaces of the hood are cleaned with a soft cloth moistened with dishwashing liquid. Special compounds are used to clean the stainless steel case.
  • The aluminum grease filter is cleaned once a month. To do this, it is removed from the hood, and then washed by hand with a neutral detergent or in a dishwasher at a temperature of +60 degrees. It is prohibited to bend it. The charcoal filter is disposable and must be replaced every 4 months or when unwanted odors appear in the kitchen.
