Construction, which does not stop after dark, is no longer surprising today — the volume and pace of construction in Russia is steadily increasing. Good lighting of the construction site at night is one of the necessary conditions for high quality construction work. The optimal solution to this problem is provided by mobile lighting masts — one of the most popular types of mobile construction equipment.

The use of mobile masts is relevant both in planned construction and, if necessary, in carrying out one-time and emergency work (repair of bridges, road masonry, etc.). This is a great alternative lighting option for a construction site located away from power sources.

The advantages of mobile masts compared to fixed lighting are obvious:

— ease of transportation and installation;

— energy savings (if work is carried out in one area, you can not waste resources on lighting others);

— the possibility of ordering individual equipment, etc.

Lighting towers are made of durable materials that can withstand adverse weather conditions. The height of the mobile lighting tower can be up to 10 m, the average lighting area is 2800 square meters. m. The design of most masts provides for the possibility of rotation around its axis by 360˚. Autonomous power supply can provide up to 60 hours of continuous operation.

One of the main tasks of manufacturers of mobile masts is to provide a sufficiently bright and, at the same time, soft, eye-friendly lighting on the construction site. For this, various types of lamps are used, most often metal and tungsten-halogen lamps. Some foreign manufacturers, in particular, AMIDA, supply a set of interchangeable lamps complete with a mast.

Almost all lighting poles of foreign manufacturers have ISO 9001 quality certificates. In Russia, ISO certification is not yet mandatory, but it is recommended to choose equipment that has such certificates as an additional quality assurance. In conclusion, we emphasize that for construction going on around the clock, the use of mobile masts is the most economical way to provide reliable and safe lighting of the construction site in the absence of natural light and the remoteness of other sources of artificial lighting.
